Why You Should Use a Dedicated Email With Online Casinos

Hello first-time Frugal Gamblers, and welcome to the club!
Before you get started signing up with casinos and building your bankroll with dailies and/or big coupons, let's talk about your email. Casinos are going to send you....A LOT of emails. I'm not talking about a few per week, I'm talking about multiple daily emails from most casinos. They will send you emails for special offers, they will send you emails for special events, they will send you emails about new games, they will send you emails when they update their sites....you're probably getting the picture. Your email address is also part of an intricate privacy web that allows people to identify you online. There are hundreds of web scrapers out there that use AI to match people's names with their contact information. Because of these two things we recommend that all frugal gamblers get a dedicated email address for their journey. This will make it harder to identify you, protect your privacy and make things much easier to manage. Your personal email will be kept safe from the glut of emails you'll receive. It makes things much easier to manage in the event that you want to setup filters and just generally makes things more accountable. All your purchases and redemptions will flow through this account and you can keep things organized and separate from your day-to-day emails. Okay, now that we've covered why you should use a dedicated email, let's talk about some solid email providers to use. There isn't a huge variance in what you're going to get from an email provider, but there are 3 that I like better than the rest.
I absolutely love Proton Mail. I've been using it since the first week it came out as my personal email over 15 years ago and I've never looked back. It's free, it's ad-free, it has a great interface, it's end-to-end encrypted, and they offer a suite of extra products, including a VPN, calendar, password manager, and cloud storage drive. Each account gets 1GB of storage on the free plan.
SmartMail is another privacy focused email provider that provides a ton of features with it. You can use a custom domain, you can make as many email aliases as you want, you can access it via Pop3 or Imap if you still use a program like Outlook. It's incredibly secure with 256 bit encryption and anti spam and virus protections. The only downside is it isn't free and costs $2.50 a month, but it's a very solid option.
Last up we have the big dog, Gmail. I'm not the biggest fan of Google's and try to avoid using their products when I can, but it's hard to ague with Gmail. It's free (with limited ads) and offers an immense amount of storage at 15GB on the free plan. It has extensive filtering abilities and you get access to their suite of features like Docs, Sheets and Calendars. I've used Gmail for the past 20 years for work and never had any serious problems with it. If you're looking to play it safe and familiar, this is your choice. Once you've made your choice and signed up with your provider of choice, it's time to start your Frugal Gambling adventure and start signing up with casinos. You can head on over to our casinos section and choose the casinos you want to add to your money feed!
And as always, happy spinning!
